I can remember how excited I was to open the doors to my first business (a cleaning and restoration company) in the spring of 1996.
I had BIG dreams, aspirations and goals. I was ready to conquer the business world.
Unfortunately, things didn't work out the way I'd hoped.
Within a year of starting my business, I was working 16 hour days, having employee problems, losing sleep at night (wondering how I was going to pay the bills), and just downright hating life.
I remember thinking to myself, "This is NOT what I had in mind when I started this business".
During this time in my life, when things weren't going well, I would get REALLY depressed.
I even used to get down on myself because things weren't working the way I wanted them to.
I'd see other people having tremendous success in their business, but for some reason, I just couldn't seem to crack the code for myself.
At the time, I was pretty much bootstrapping everything I did because I just didn't have the money I needed to try anything new.
I'm talking about spending $10.00 here, or borrowing $10.00 from a friend so I could run an ad – trying to drum up business.
As time went on, and I continued to struggle, I'd get more and more frustrated.
It got so bad that I started getting really depressed and upset because nothing seemed to be working.
I always knew I had a pretty good head on my shoulders. And I'm sitting there one day, thinking to myself, "You know, I'm smarter than most of these other people, so why can't I make this work?"
Of course now days, people always ask me, "Kevin, what was the big moment that allowed you to turn it all around"?
And now – looking back, I can pinpoint the exact moment when things started to click for me.
While I didn't realize it at the time – I know it now, and can remember this moment like it was yesterday.
It happened one night when I was watching late night television (at 2 in the morning) – that's when I discovered "THE MISSING LINK"!
And…
As soon as I had it, EVERYTHING started to click.

It Seemed As Though I Could Do No Wrong

Before I let you in on the secret, I need to make sure you understand one thing.
In order to make money in ANY business, there's three components that you MUST have.
Those three components are passion, value and large profit margins.
You've got to have a passion for what you're doing. You've got to LOVE what you do SO much, that you wouldn't mind doing it for free.
The second thing your business must do is provide value. People will spend tons of money on your products and services - as long as they feel they're getting great value for their investment.
And finally, you've got to have large profit margins.
You see, most businesses try to survive on tiny profit margins of 10%-30%.
Here's the BIG problem with this:
Once you figure in all your costs of doing business, such as office rental, employees, insurance, inventory, advertising, equipment, bookkeeping, legal fees and taxes – there's barely any money left for YOU.
So, let me ask you...
What if you could have a business that paid you for doing what you LOVE?
What if you could have a business that made it easy for you to provide so much value to your customers. that they kept coming back and begging you for more?
What if you could have a business that gave you 1,000% to 3,000% profit margins… and more?
The Good News Is

Once you've got your hands on the "MISSING LINK".
Yes, I'm talking about the same "MISSING LINK" I discovered several years ago.
It happened one night, when I was watching a presentation by Brian Tracy on late night television.
During his talk, one of the things Brian said was, "When you give enough people what THEY want, you'll get what YOU want"
And that's when the light bulb came on for me.
You see…
Prior to then, I'd been trying to "sell" prospects on my cleaning services, and they weren't buying – at least they weren't buying much.
But, once I made the decision to start listening to their wants and their needs, an amazing thing happened.
I started to LOVE what I was doing!
People could see that I loved what I was doing.
They could see my sincerity, that I REALLY did care about them, and as a result, they hired me.
Business started BOOMING!
And along the way, I discovered that what I liked most about business (and being an entrepreneur), was the marketing.
And now that I was finally getting a firm handle on it, I realized I could accomplish a whole lot more.
I discovered that when your heart is in the right place…
When you care about your customers…
When you're passionate about what you're doing…
And when you have good marketing systems in place…
Your Business Will EXPLODE!
Armed with this new found knowledge, I decided to put it to the test, by starting a second part-time business.
I put up a website at GetMoldSolutions.com.
This website was dedicated to helping people who had a mold problem in their home.
Because I already had a good understanding of marketing, and I truly did care about the people who came to me, this business grew faster than I ever imagined.
Within a few short months, I was making more than $5,000.00 a month, and I was only working on a part-time basis (about 4 hours a week).
That's when I decided to sell the cleaning company, so I could concentrate 100% of my efforts on this new opportunity.
And while I didn't realize it at the time, I was about to get into the Information Marketing business.
Until this point, I'd only been offering physical products on the GetMoldSolutions.com website.
Products like mold test kits, mold cleaning products, and HEPA Vacuums.
But now, the people who came to my site were asking me to give them step-by-step, accurate and detailed information that would show them how to get rid of mold in their home.
They wanted information!
So I responded to their requests, and gave them what they wanted, which was a step-by-step guide to ridding their home of mold.
I called it The Wipe Out Mold System, and I decided to offer it for $297.00.
When I sent out an email announcing the new product, something REALLY exciting happened.
I made $13,959.00 in sales… in a single day!
After doing so, it immediately reminded me of that night, when I was watching late night television, and heard Brian Tracy say, "When you give enough people what THEY want, you'll get what YOU want".
And now, I realized how true those words were.
I'd just created a massively successful information product, and I'd done it in less than 30 days.
But…
Here's what's so interesting about this little story.
Even though I'd just hit a MAJOR home run, it still hadn't dawned on me that I was in the Information Marketing business.
At this point in my life, I didn't even know what Information Marketing was, or that that's what I was doing.
I Was Completely Oblivious
Shortly after this, a good friend of mine introduces me to this guy Matt.
Within a short time, Matt became a HUGE mentor to me when it comes to internet marketing, information marketing and marketing in general.
He knows more about the internet and information marketing than anyone else I've ever met.
I've learned an incredible amount from him, and as a result, I've participated in everything he had to offer me.
One of the best things I ever did was to join his coaching program.
And back then, one of the things he offered me were these 15-minute phone consults with him each month.
On our very first phone consult, I had a burning question for him.
I said, "Matt, I've got this little website, and it's been producing about $5,000 a month for me. But, I just created this product that shows people how to get rid of mold in their home, and as soon as I let everyone know it was available, I made almost $14,000.00 in sales.
I need to know what my next step is.
I'll do whatever you tell me to do, but what I want know is this…
What's the fastest way for me to take this business to the half-million dollar a year level?
And whatever you tell me to do, I'll do".
I then waited for his response.
After What Seemed Like An Eternity...
Matt began to speak, and his reply completely shocked me.
He said, "Kevin, you're trying to accomplish the impossible".
After hearing this, my first thought was, "He's joking right".
After all, I'd just made $13,959 in a single day.
Matt went on to explain that I'd just created my first Information product, and while it was a smashing success, my business model had one MAJOR flaw in it (which I'll tell you about in a minute).
He then said, "Here's what you need to do…
There's a whole lot of people out there who would LOVE to know how to have a successful business like yours.
Other than me, you're one of the few people I know who's making a VERY good income, working part-time at an internet business that sells REAL products and services to REAL people on a daily basis.

I Discovered That I Loved Everything
About This New Side Of My Business
I loved helping entrepreneurs.
I loved showing them how to market their products and services.
I loved to talk marketing with them.
I loved to interact with them.
I loved hearing about how their lives had been changed, knowing that I'd had a hand in their success.
And for first time ever, I realized that I was in the Information Marketing business.
There's something else that happened too. A lot of my clients began making more money with my methods than I was.
I used to be embarrassed to admit this, until it dawned on me…
"No wonder they're making more than you.
You showed them how to avoid all the mistakes you made, and as a result, they were able to bypass all that nonsense and start making money FAST!"

The Biggest Mistake I Ever Made
Yes, I've made a lot of mistakes along the way, but this one takes the cake – this was the BIGGIE.
In order to have a successful information business that continues to put money into your bank account each month, and that will continue to grow in revenue - WITHOUT extra work on your part, you must have two things.
Those two things are leverage and scale.
The great thing about having an information marketing business is that if you build it right (and that's a BIG if, because most people build it wrong) but if you build it right, all the assets you put together will be leverageable and scaleable.
For example, my GetMoldSolutions.com project is leverageable, but it wasn't scaleable.
This is the major flaw Matt had told me about, and the specific reason why I'd NEVER be able to grow this business to the half-million dollar a year level.
I got the leverage part right – meaning that the GetMoldSolutions.com website does all the work for me, and I don't have to be present in order to make a sale.
But…
Where I really messed up, was on the scaleable side of the equation, and here's why:
Even though I hit a MAJOR home run with The Wipe Out Mold System (and continue to make many sales of this product to this day), I'll NEVER be able to grow this business to the half-million dollar a year point.
Why?
Because it's NOT scaleable.
No matter how great my product is, or how many copies of it I sell, once people get it into their hands and use it, there's no reason for them to come back and buy from me again.
I've solved their problem, and they're done with me.
And who can blame them.
They got what they came for.
So…
The secret is to structure your business in a way that doesn't prevent people from spending more money with you.
Because the fact is, once someone has made the initial purchase from you, and they're happy with that purchase, they'll gladly come back and spend MORE money with you – as long as you don't make the mistake I did, and cut them off at the pass.
You see…
It's Easy To Make Your First $1,000.00
And once you've done that, it's easy to make $10,000.00 a month.
But…
In order to move beyond that, and make $20,000.00, $30,000.00 or $50,000.00 a month, you MUST have a business that's scaleable.
The other thing I need to point out is that you want to build an information marketing business on your strengths and your passions.
I see a lot of entrepreneurs who've built themselves a job that they hate.
They call themselves entrepreneurs, but all they've really done is trap themselves in a job they regret, wishing they could be doing something else.
Something that's more fulfilling.
Something that's FUN.
The cause of their frustration all stems from a problem I call "misguided thinking", and I'm going to show you how to avoid it..
A lot of what I see people doing wrong in business goes back to this "misguided thinking".
We entrepreneurs love to think of ourselves as independent, we're out there doing our thing, doing it on our schedule, and doing it our way.
But think about this for a minute.
We revolt against the idea of working for someone else, just so we can make them wealthy.
We detest the idea of having to wait for that "some day" way off in the future, when we'd finally get a chance to do all the things we wanted to do, when we're not working, or once we're retired.
As Entrepreneurs,
We Joke About That All The Time
We say things like:
"Oh I'd never do something like that".
"I'm going to have my own business and create my own destiny".
"I'm going to do things my way".
"I don't really care what the business is, because once I've got it up and running, I'll be stepping out of it so I can spend my time relaxing on the beach".
But… when you really think about it, this is the same way an employee thinks.
An employee always says to themselves, "I'll do the work now, so I can enjoy life later".
And I'm here to tell you that this way of thinking is completely backwards.
If you want to have a massively successful information marketing business, you've got to find something that you're passionate about, that you actually love and care about, that you enjoy so much… you wouldn't mind doing it for FREE.
Here's why…
Let's say you figure out that there's a market for information on how to breed Pomeranians, and you decide to put out a book on breeding Pomeranians.
Only problem is, you don't really like, or even care about Pomeranians.
In fact, you hate Pomeranians.
Then, somebody else comes along, and decides that they want to be in the Pomeranian breeding niche too.
Only thing is, they LOVE Pomeranians.
If they could spend their day talking about Pomeranians, taking pictures of Pomeranians, interacting with other people who love Pomeranians - they'd LOVE it.
In fact, they love Pomeranians sooooo much, that they can hardly believe someone would actually pay them in order to so such a thing.
So, let me ask you - who do you think is gonna win?
If you're the person who doesn't really like Pomeranians, this other person (who loves Pomeranians), is gonna eat your lunch!
That's why it's so important that you build a business around your strengths and your passions.

To Ramping Up Your DREAM BUSINESS…
In 30 Days Or Less
In order to have a "Dream Business", where you get to do what you absolutely LOVE, with people you LOVE working with ... and get paid more than you ever imagined, for something you wouldn't mind doing for free, there's 3 specific steps you that you need to take.
Here they are:
Step #1 - Figure out what you love
What absolutely energizes and excites you so much, that you can hardly believe people would pay you for it?
What do you love doing?
When a new book or article comes out on the subject, you can't wait to get your hands it
You want to build your business around that - this thing that gives you energy.
For me, when I get up in the morning and have the opportunity to talk with entrepreneurs about marketing and business, that gets me EXCITED.
I could've tossed and turned and been up all night long, but I'd be excited about what I get to do, because I love helping entrepreneurs.
Now, I realize that you might not be able to figure it out right here, right now, as you read this, but start making the list.
Then, once you've got the thing, your next step is…
Step #2 - Find an audience
Find an audience or a market that has a top 3 problem or a top 3 goal that you can help them achieve by doing this thing that you love
Like I said, for me, it's working with entrepreneurs.
I absolutely LOVE working with entrepreneurs.
There's a lot of entrepreneurs, and people who want to be entrepreneurs.
Every one of these entrepreneurs wants to market and grow their business.
They want to start a business from scratch and have it become successful.
Many of them have already grown a business to the point where it's miserable for them, and now they want it to be FUN again.
They want to go back to doing the things they love most.
These entrepreneurs are my audience.
So - the two questions you need to ask yourself are:
What are the things I love doing? – and then…
Who out there (what audience) has a top 3 problem or a top 3 goal that by doing the thing I enjoy so much, I'll be able to provide them with a great service they'd be willing to pay me for?
Start creating the list and looking for that audience.
And that becomes what I call the "sweet spot".
You'll hit this "sweet spot" when you align what you want to be doing, with who you want to be doing it for.
Now… once you have that, the next thing you need to do is…
Step #3 - Find a way to get yourself a customer
Now, in my own business, I've made many mistakes and I've wasted a lot of money when it comes to getting customers.
If I were to start over again from scratch, with little or no money, there's a couple of VERY specific things I'd do right from the get-go.
And this brings us back to that idea of a "leverageble asset", which I'll be explaining in much more detail as we go along.
For now, let me just tell you that you're looking for a way to get a customer.
You're looking for a way to get someone to give you money FAST, so that you can duplicate and build on this process as your business goes forward.
It's pointless, if at the end of 30 days you've got cashflow coming in, but then, you've got to start over from scratch again the following month in order to make the same amount of money.
If you do something this month that generates a couple thousand dollars for you, but the way you did it requires you do ALL the work over again next month in order to get the same $2,000.00, that's NOT a leverageable asset.
That's something that's gonna keep you at the same level you're at, and it's gonna keep your business from growing.
Whenever I do ANYTHING in my own business, I want to do it once, and then leverage it, so that next month it runs automatically, and I get the same $2,000.00 deposited into my bank account again, without doing any extra work.
Now, there's a couple ways to make this happen, and I'm gonna tell you about my absolute favorite method right now.
The reason this is my favorite method is because it gives me the fastest results, and it costs me absolutely nothing.
Here's My Favorite Way To Get A List Of Customers,
And Start Making Money… FAST!
You're going to find a non-competing business, meaning a business that already has a list of customers who are absolute perfect prospects for the thing you have to offer.
These prospects have a top 3 problem or top 3 goal that you, when doing the thing you love, is going to help them solve.
And…
These prospects already used to paying money for stuff.
Here's an example of what I'm talking about:
When I first got into the information marketing business, showing entrepreneurs how to make more money with their business, I didn't have a list of my own.
So, what I did was partner with another business.
I called the owner of that business and introduced myself like this, "My name is Kevin Thompson and I'm an internet consultant. Over the last several years I've become pretty good at this marketing thing.
I noticed that a lot of your members are having problems generating business with their websites, and I have a way to help them.
I've got a free report that we can offer your members. It will give them some great tools, and at the end of it, I'll give them a way to get some more information".
That's All I Had To Do
Within two days we had everything set up, and it was a piece of cake.
Now think about the structure here, we're going to approach someone.
We're going to offer their members information that they want, which is going to help them solve a problem or reach a goal that they have.
The information you're offering is like a sales letter for your product.
And once they read it, they're going to be interested in getting more involved with you.
They're going to be interested in buying a product.
It's that simple.
You find an organization.
This could be a trade organization if you're going to businesses.
If you were doing something with dog breeding, you'd find a dog owner's association.
If you were showing homeowners how to save money on their mortgage, you find a homeowners association.
For me, because I help entrepreneurs and business owners, I find different business associations.
Alright – let me show you how to find tons of non-competing business owners who will jump at the opportunity to introduce YOU to their members.
I'm going to give you a REALLY awesome tool that you'll want to spend a little bit of time with, because it's gonna open your eyes to the hundreds and hundreds of markets that are out there, and the kind of numbers in each one of these markets.
Take that list of things that you love and head down to one of the bigger libraries in your area.
You might want to call ahead or do an internet search in order to make sure they have a resource called the SRDS, also known as the Standard Rate and Data Service.
This resource is a HUGE directory of mailing lists and publications that you can rent lists from.
Now…
You Might Be Thinking To Yourself...
"I don't want to rent mailing lists".
"I just want to do some online stuff so I can get started, without investing much money".
And that's fine.
What we're doing here is getting a feel for the groups and organizations that are out there, and this is how we accomplish that.
Oh, and one more thing, when you go to the library, be sure to take some change with you and plan to spend an hour or so.
You're going to be absolutely amazed at all the opportunities you discover and you'll want to make copies of what you find in the SRDS.
This resource is a huge 5-volume directory, and because of this, the library won't allow you to check it out.
Not all libraries carry this resource, and that's why you want to call ahead.
I have to travel almost an hour to get to the library in my area that carries the SRDS, but trust me – it's worth the drive!
Every time I use it, I come home with a ton of new opportunities to grow my business.
Alright, now that you've got your leverageable asset, here's what we're going to do next.
Let's say you find an organization that you're excited to work with.
There's obviously other ways to do this, like using Google AdWords to build a list of your own, and that's great too, but like I said, this is my favorite way, cause it's FAST.
Partnering with other non-competing businesses is the ultimate way to kick things off and get money coming in fast.
Looking Back, If I Were To Start All Over,
From The Beginning, This Is What I'd Do First
You see, most organizations are desperate for the opportunity to offer their members more information.
For the most part, they're getting regular complaints because their members aren't getting enough value.
All of a sudden, you come through the door and say, "I'd like to offer your members more value. Here's why I'm doing it, here's why they're gonna love it, and here's what they're gonna get out of it".
These organizations are gonna jump at the opportunity like that.
They'll be chomping at the bit to introduce you to their members.
Alright, now I want to give you the final piece of the information marketing puzzle.
What If I Could Prove That Creating Your First
Product Was A Piece Of Cake, And You'll Even
Get Paid For Doing It… In ADVANCE!
I'm about to reveal one of the most exciting discoveries I've ever made.
The very first information product I ever created took me over a year to create.
It was a product geared towards mobile electronics dealers, that would help them better market their business, and make more money.
The problem was, the first month I began selling this product, I had to scrap the whole thing because I was getting all this feedback from my market that it wasn't giving them what they really wanted.
It was a foolish mistake on my part, and you can be sure that I've never repeated it.
Unfortunately, I see new information marketers making this same mistake, over and over again.
They think they've got to make the product first, and they spend a year doing it.
I've seen some people take several years to trying to get a product ready to market, and it just doesn't have to be this way.
Here's the way I do it:
We're going to partner with that organization, group, or person who has the list of members.
We're going to make a special offer, just for their members.
The great thing about using this model is that all we have to do is put together the initial thing that's going to be free, like a report that will give their members some great information.
Then at the end the end of the report, we say, "Hey, have you liked what I've talked about so far?
Has it stuck with you in some way?
Has it resonated with you, and you get that this is the business you want to be in?
That's great, because I've put together a program that's going to give you exactly that."
Then, I offer them a series of live trainings by telephone.
I offer them a program delivered via telephone, over multiple weeks where I'd then be teaching them exactly what it was that they wanted to be taught.
And I do it in great detail, making sure that they had all the information they needed.
I Can Only Imagine Where I'd Be Now,
If I'd Done It This Way From The Beginning
Instead of spending an entire year building my first product, I would've got paid for it up front… in ADVANCE!
And then, the first training calls would be starting within a week or so.
Then I'd be interacting with my customers, which they'd love even more.
When questions came up, I'd be able to answer them in the course of doing the live training calls.
Of course I'd be recording all of the calls, which costs me absolutely nothing.
I'd then take the recordings of the calls after they were finished, and I'd get them transcribed.
I'd also put them on CD, and I'd put the transcripts in a binder, and now I'd have a physical product to sell.
Now… what have we accomplished by doing this?
Well, that initial partnership - we didn't have a penny in marketing costs in order to do it.
Our cost was simply the little bit of time it took us to reach out and get in touch with the organizations that we wanted to partner with, until one or more of them said yes.
We had virtually NO cost in order to present our training calls.
We I had NO cost in delivering the product.
Yet, at the same time, we got paid in advance to create the product.
And…
We Generated Immediate Cash Flow
Ever since I discovered this model, it's something I do all the time now, in multiple niches, with multiple products.
I ALWAYS get paid in advance for creating my products.
And here's the REALLY exciting part:
Because I created the product "live", the finished version was far better than anything I could have created on my own.
By interacting with the customer as I created the product, they gave me valuable input into what they wanted the product to include.
Once it's finished, everyone who invests in it from that point forward is gonna love it, and they'll be getting EXACTLY what they need most.
I've NEVER had less than a five-figure start when I did this, when it was something that I was excited about doing.
As you can see, it's a matter of following a very simple formula in order to make those initial sales, and then turn those into the initial product that your customers will really love.
And I've gotta tell you, I do this all the time in my own business, and everyone LOVES it.
If you're sitting there at your computer, reading this letter, and you're wondering where the rent check is gonna come from next month, and you've never experienced having a business like this, I realize this might seem a little unreal at the moment.
But I can assure you that it's possible.
I do this all the time in my own business, and I've shown countless others how to do it as well, even when they're starting from scratch.
By following this model, I would have no problem generating five figures in the first month, when it's something I was excited about doing.
And I'd do it starting without a list.
Without the assets.
Without the money.
Without any of that.
And here's where your business REALLY starts to grow, because now you've got a leverageable asset.
Now you've got a model that can be used over and over again.
Now That You've Got The Formula,
It's Time To Leverage It
Let's take a look at what's gonna happen over the next few months.
This is where the REAL magic comes into play.
Let's say you've found an organization who's able to introduce 200 of their members to what you've got going on and you get to offer them your product.
Now, your income will obviously depend on the price point of the product that you're offering.
What's it going to be?
Is it a $100.00 training?
Is it a $2,000 training.
What is it that you want to offer?
But here's the really magical part.
When you follow the formula I've just laid out for you, it's a piece of cake to generate $10,000.00 in your very first month.
Then, when we take this out two, or three or four months, this is where the whole idea of leverage and scale really comes into play.
You See, Most Entrepreneurs Do Things
Completely At Random,
Without Rhyme Or Reason
They do a little bit here, and a little bit there.
They have a little success here, and a little success there.
But the reason their business doesn't grow, is because they don't know how to build on each success, and allow each success to become bigger.
And as a result, their business never gets a chance to build up any momentum.
So…
The thing I like so much about the formula I've just laid out for you, is that after I've done that first partnership, and I've successfully sold something – all I have to do now is use the formula again.
I'm thinking to myself, "How many other places can I repeat this exact same process and generate more customers and more revenue?"
And the great thing is, I don't have to create anything more in order to make this happen.
I don't have to do any more work.
I just have to go our and find more places to do the same thing.
And Here's The Really Good News…
If you're reading this right now, and you do your homework with the SRDS, you'll find that there are more groups and organizations around any kind of possible interest you might have than you could possibly imagine.
There are dozens (sometimes hundreds), depending on the niche you're going into, and all you've got to do is repeat the process again, and again… as often as you'd like.
Now… let's look out two to four months and see what happens for you.
If I make $10,000.00 the first month, by the fourth month I want to be making… say $25,000.00 to $30,000.00.
And that's the great thing about the formula I've just laid out for you.
When you structure a business like this, ESPECIALLY an information business, that first sale is just the beginning.
In other words, that up front money, that initial income is really nice.
But…
You want to structure that sale so that it naturally leads your customer to something else, such as a coaching program, a monthly newsletter or a follow up product at a higher price point.
Then, when you use the formula again next month to get more new customers, you're also generating additional revenue from the customers you already have.
Because here's the deal:
Once someone has bought something from you, and you gave them great value for their investment, they'll be clamoring to come back and buy from you again.
And once you build a large enough base of those existing customers, you can literally press "Send" on an email or mail a postal letter, or invite them to a seminar-by-phone and extract money from them, while giving them more great value in the process.
And now you'll realize that you've got something significant in a business.
Now you have something that you can easily scale up to that half-million dollar a year level and beyond.
I realize that this number might seem huge to you at the moment, but what I'm gonna tell you is that myself and countless people I know in the information marketing business generally started out flat broke, frustrated and doing the wrong thing.
Heck, we all do that.
In fact, I've never met an entrepreneur who's succeeded more than they've failed.
There's always a long list of failures before they eventually hit upon the formula that was going to bring them the success that they wanted and deserved.
So, the question you need to be asking is this:
Do You Have What It Takes?
The fact is, anyone can do this, as long as they possess three simple skills.
My list of skills, and what I'm looking for in a potential client who's really primed for success, is someone who has that list of passions and is willing to pursue something that they love.
What is it that you're interested in?
What hobbies or special interest topics do you love?
What are the things you enjoy about the work you do?
What is it that gets you excited?
That's the first thing I'm looking for.
The second thing you want to have is something called a platform.
Now, I briefly mentioned teleseminars and websites, because those are my personal favorites.
But they're certainly not the only platforms available to you.
There's a lot of ways to get information into people's hands, and you need to figure out what that platform is going to be.
What's the way that you want to communicate with your audience, so they understand that you have a particular passion for helping them
The third thing I'm looking for is that element of persistence.
One of the most important things that an entrepreneur can have, and that an entrepreneur can realize is that it's not a matter of if they're going to be successful in the way they want – it's a matter of WHEN.
Your job is to hold onto that thing you want, that way you want to be in the world, and at the same time looking for people, resources and tools that can help you get the outcome that you want.
Those are the only things that you need.
And If You Have All That,
Everything Else Is Just "How-To"
Now granted, most of the "how-to" out there kinda stinks.
I was fortunate to come across Matt because he taught me some really advanced formulas and I've been able to learn a tremendous amount from.

Yes, the formula is there.
You want to find that intersection between what you love, and the group that will be glad to pay you for it.

But there's so many more elements, so many more nuances that go into it.
Things like:
How do you structure a product in order for it to sell at a premium price?

I had to share something interesting that happened to me while going through the system. Some of this may sound goofy so please bear with me.
Here's the scoop... I've been studying information marketing for a while now but always ran into a roadblock when it came to ideas on the product. I've spent a small fortune on ebooks and home study courses but found that they weren't worth a hill of beans because I couldn't think of one original thing that I could put together from my own knowledge and experiences.
I became so frustrated that something odd began to happen when I would have contact with friends or business associates. I'd repeatedly find my mind drifting during our conversations and I'd begin thinking of how we could create a product based on their knowledge or experience!
In fact, out of sheer frustration I recently resorted to contacting a friend of mine that has what I feel to be a ton of marketable knoweledge and explained that I wanted to help him put a product together that we could market.
